Account Payable Officer

Responsibilities:

  • Executing and helping to develop the business’ Accounts Payable Process from end to end

  • Responding to and clearing ad hoc queries regarding supplier payments and communications

  • Review and explanation of expense items as required

  • Daily monitoring and downloads of banking position and statements

  • Transfer and clearance of client money received by the business, including handling returns of funds

  • Other ad hoc payment responsibilities as they arise


Requirements:

  • Reporting & analytics – proven ability to produce accurate & informative data which can drive commercial decisions

  • Time management – manages workloads in a timely manner and allocates tasks as required to meet deadlines, anticipating problems and taking responsibility to resolve them

  • Communication – raises and clearly explains issues to related teams & supervisors, and deals effectively with queries and external relationships
